“When leadership is true, the numbers will always tell the story.”

“What is counted can be improved, and what is improved can transform a people.”

In politics, words are many, but results are few. That is why the idea of “the beauty of achievement” becomes so powerful it reminds us that true performance is measured not by promises, but by tangible actions and visible impact. When leadership is placed on the scale of accountability, and every action is counted and verified, the results speak for themselves.

In less than eight months at the Federal House of Representatives, Ayoola Elegbeji has given the people of Remo Federal Constituency achievements worth celebrating, and the numbers clearly tell her story.

Take, for instance, the bold proposal to convert the long-abandoned General Hospital at Ode, Ward 9 in Sagamu Local Government Area into a Teaching Hospital. For years, this facility stood as a symbol of neglect. Today, through her purposeful representation, it is being reimagined as a center for learning, healthcare delivery, and community development. This single initiative alone promises improved healthcare services, employment opportunities, and professional training for the people of Remo.

And the achievements do not stop there.

On December 11, 2025, she moved a motion addressing the rehabilitation of the dilapidated Ibere River Bridge in Emuren Town, Sagamu. Restoring this bridge means reviving economic activity, ensuring safer movement, and reconnecting communities long divided by poor infrastructure.

In another decisive action, she raised a motion on the Ogijo lead poisoning crisis, drawing urgent attention to a serious public health threat. Leadership is not only about building ,it is also about protecting lives. By confronting this issue, she demonstrated awareness, responsiveness, and courage.

Understanding the dangers faced daily by commuters, she also sponsored a motion calling for the urgent construction of pedestrian bridges along the ongoing Sagamu–Benin Expressway project. This proactive step reduces accidents and safeguards lives ,a clear reflection of foresight and genuine concern for constituents.

Her legislative footprint also extends into agriculture and youth empowerment through the Agricultural Research Council of Nigeria Act (Amendment) Bill, 2025 (HB 2653). With its first reading in December 2025, the bill seeks to strengthen the Federal College of Agricultural Sciences at Orile Oko in Remo North, promoting agricultural education, food security, and youth involvement in farming as an opportunity rather than a burden.

Furthermore, her proposal to amend the Constitution to create five additional Local Government Areas within Remo Federal Constituency highlights her vision for grassroots development. Advocating for three new LGAs in Sagamu, one in Ikenne, and one in Remo North shows her commitment to better governance, equitable resource allocation, and closer government-to-people relationships.

When we apply the concept of the beauty of achievement to these efforts, the outcome is undeniable. In less than eight months, Hon. Elegbeji’s record demonstrates dedication, productivity, and meaningful representation. As the political adage goes, “A good leader does not count the days in office; the people count the impact of the days.”

If in less than eight months she has accomplished so much, then by every fair calculation, her performance can be rated one hundred percent (100%). This record shows consistency, commitment, and an unwavering focus on delivering results for the people. Such performance inspires confidence in the future and calls for collective support. Encouraging good leadership is not just an option—it is a responsibility. When a representative shows dedication to progress, the people must respond with trust and cooperation.

Indeed, results do not lie. When we carefully measure the strides made so far, one truth stands firm: Remo Federal Constituency has a representative who is working, delivering, and making every moment count.

That, truly, is the beauty of achievement.

Thanks for your time…
