The 19th Logistics Seminar and 10th Anniversary of the Association of Applied Information Management Professionals (AIMP) was successfully held on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at the Conference Hall of the Prince Dapo Abiodun Leadership Development Centre, Gateway ICT Polytechnic, Saapade, Ogun State.

The event brought together professionals and stakeholders in the field of applied information management to discuss the growing importance of data-driven decision-making, research, and policy development in advancing national growth. Deliberations highlighted the role of effective information management in strengthening governance, improving institutional efficiency, and supporting legislative processes.

A key highlight of the event was the recognition of distinguished individuals for their contributions to the field. Hon. Dr. Princess Adesola Ayoola-Elegbeji, Member representing Ikenne/Sagamu/Remo North Federal Constituency, was invited as Chairperson of the occasion and was also inducted as a Fellow of the Association in recognition of her commitment to knowledge-driven development and public service.

Although unavoidably absent, she was ably represented by Omo’ba Abiola Ogundeko, who conveyed her goodwill and reaffirmed her commitment to supporting initiatives that promote professional excellence and sustainable development.

The event also marked a significant milestone in the growth of AIMP, celebrating ten years of impactful contributions to capacity building and the advancement of applied information management in Nigeria.
